Miriam K. von Guggenberg
Miriam is a firm believer in community and self-reflection and it was during her studies towards her Marriage and Family Therapist license that she became fascinated with the joys and frustrations of pregnancy and parenthood. Her background in psychotherapy and attachment theory, passion for meditation and breath, and her belief in the empowering effects of yoga led Miriam on her path to becoming a pre-/postnatal yoga teacher. She studied with Jennifer More in San Mateo and completed 85 hours in pre-/postnatal yoga teacher training. Miriam invites yoginis to listen to themselves and continuously fine-tune their sense of self-awareness and insight. At the same time, Miriam offers evidence-based invitations that may aid mommas in ways to safely approach pregnancy and the birthing process. Today, Miriam is honored to invite mommas to surrender to their breath and listen to their bodies as they connect with the life within them and journey through parenthood.
