Most women believe that childbirth will be the most excruciating experience of their lives. This belief comes from a lifetime of conditioning through media and stories passed down from generations of women. This belief creates an assumption that childbirth is something to be feared and treated as a negative necessity to producing a beautiful new life. This recording was developed to assist in creating positive birth experiences by redefining the sensations felt during labor. It is best used in the months prior to delivering your baby.

This track is wonderful! I have been listening to it or the 15 minute ocean relaxation (not specific to childbirth) almost every day during the last 5 weeks (I am at 38 weeks pregnant now). The first half of this track brings you into a deeply relaxed state and the second half helps to reframe childbirth in your mind and help you visualize what your birth will be like. I love that this track has specific references to pressure waves and birth and I plan on listening to it in the car ride to the hospital (through headphones so my husband stays awake while driving!). Overall, listening to this meditation has helped me completely lose any anxiety or fear about childbirth and instead feel calm, ready and excited to meet my baby.
