Fumie Sekimoto

Born in 1975 in Japan.After graduating from university, I worked at the hospital as psychiatry, neurology, cardiology, heart surgery, and emergency nurse. As I worked, I got interested in the connection between body and mind. Then I started to learn yoga.I have trained yoga with my Japanese teachers,  been to India several times to learn yoga, and got the Japan yoga association instructor certification, completed the Sivananda Yoga Teacher’s training course. Then I opened yoga studio ‘surf and mountain’ at  Kanagawa,Japan in 2007.

Now I am teaching at my studio and other places, and working as a volunteer nurse.
