Ai Yee stumbled into her first yoga class in 2013 in seek of a remedy for lower back pain. Apart from the physical changes she experienced from the practice, she began to realise how it taught her to tune inwards and to move mindfully.
In September 2016, she decided to pursue a deeper understanding in yoga and enrolled herself into a 450hr International Yoga Instructor Course by the Malaysian Association of Yoga Instructors. Upon obtaining her certification as a yoga teacher, she fell in love with teaching and has been teaching ever since. In order to support more women throughout the different stages of their lives, she trained under Jennifer More of the Dolphin Method in Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga (June 2017).
Now, she is a certified Hatha Yoga and Prenatal/Postnatal Vinyasa Yoga teacher based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She enjoys various forms of yoga from the traditional Hatha to modern Vinyasa Flows. With this, you can expect to experience a combination of different styles of yoga turned into a calm and steady flow with her.
Her passion is to bring a little light into someone’s day, to work towards mindful living by connecting the breath, body and mind, one mat at a time.
